Edit: The shading's been driving me crazy, so I took another stab at it.

Edit 2: The shading on her shirt was STILL driving me crazy, so I fixed it again, hopefully for the last time.

Edit 3: I should just stop telling you when I update this pic. ^^;


Months and months ago, I decided to do one of those 100 meme things for Green Eyes, and I'm only just getting around to starting it. ^^;

Her outfit is totally designed off one I was wearing on Sunday last (which is, frankly, what inspired me to draw this).

If you watch my GE page, too, you'll be getting this deviation more than once in your inbox. Sorry about that. But, hey! The artist commentary is different on the other one! ^__^

Note: If you want to use this image as a wallpaper (like I'm doing), the border colors are R: 0 G: 16 B: 5, so that you can make your colors match.

Dude! she's adorable. This image leaves me like some one should say something like "Jaaaade...you've got some 'splainin' to do..." Sp sweet...so innocent...too sweet...too innocent.

I really like the cel shading feel of it, and the shape of her down hair...particularly that little fwip at the bottom. So cute XD

Yeah, I'm super fond of her expression. ^_^ :points to new icon: And the shape of her hair is love, but I swear, it is so hard for me to shade Jade's hair! I mean, WTF, you know? I've only been drawing her for nearly ten years. Why should her hair get any easier? :rolleyes:

:beams: Thanks! Yeah, there's this one lighting thing that I've seen people do, and I wanted to try it, where you've got this colored light source... I'm not 100% satisfited with the result of the green shade, but I like it better now than I did last night, I think. ^__^

Also, also (because apperantly I have trouble telling you everything the first time), the backwards baseball cap is actually part of her very original design. Back in the day, I used to draw her in the same outfit every time I drew her (like every good anime character), and that included a backwards cap. And fingerless gloves. :XD: You can find an image or two of her towards the beginning of my gallery in what she used to wear.
