Tandryn is Charlie's son. He is not Jade's.
Minor Edit: After talking to Emi, I found out that Tan's eyes were greener than I had them, and that she tends ("tends" I say - she's drawn him once) to use three different shades when coloring his hair, so I tried that.
Major Edit: The shading was driving me crazy. It just looked so flat! I've been meaning to work on it since the day after I originally posted it, but it just wasn't happening. Well, it wouldn't let me sleep tonight until it was done.
Changes:
1) Every object (with the acception of Jade's shirt) has at least three layers of shading now. I used different brushes to try to achieve different textures, and while I think all I really managed was a kind of vectorish look, I think I like it.
2) Blanket was blue - is now yellow.
3) Background was yellow, is now blue. I drew that little sheep guy myself, in photoshop. Took me about 30 seconds. I think I like him. I don't know if it's supposed to be wallpaper in Tan's room, or just the cutesie bg I chose.

I love the edit, but I really wish that you had left the original so that we could see the comparison. the light source is now made quite obvious and I'm so happy to see that. A nice soft light. I just love looking at that towel/blanket/whatever it is thing on her shoulder. The shadows there are just so....nice to look at. I also love the background. I totally read it as wallpaper, and the lamb is adorable. I also like the slight glow around the figures. It separates them from the background quite nicely. The line of her cheekbone is a little hard for my taste, but as an overall piece, it's just wonderful. I hope you feel good about it because you should
